LPA met with licensee, Teresa Cruz, and discussed the purpose of today’s inspection. LPA in the company of the licensee toured the interior and exterior of the home in its entirety. Licensee will operate Monday thru Saturday, from 5 AM – 12 AM and serve children 0 – 12 years of age.
Licensee requested a change of location and a change of capacity to a large family child care home license. LPA observed the home to be clean and orderly with sufficient space and ventilation for children in care. LPA observed a screened fireplace in the living room inaccessible to children. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and equipment. Cleaning compounds and disinfectants are stored within a locked cabinet and in the off limit areas of the kitchen, inaccessible.
