Personal Rights - Staff did not treat children with dignity and respect

On 6/02/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Andy Yang conducted an unannounced complaint investigation. LPA met with Director, Lurvin Magana Calles to deliver the complaint allegation of personal rights, staff did not treat children with dignity and respect. Present for today's inspection were Director, (18) Teachers, and (67) children.

During the investigation, LPA interviewed children, parents, teachers, and the Director. Despite the allegation that a teacher had yelled and mishandled children in care, interviews and observations did not reveal if the teacher may have used methods to redirect children that violated the personal rights of children.
