25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Shine Yu, conducted an unannounced Annual inspection today and met with office manager (OM), Janine Crawford and director, Aparna Veeraraghavan.
The Facility is licensed to serve age 2 to 6 years old children. Hours of operation: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. The OM stated the facility did not have weapons on the premises, and there is no smoking on the premises. The facility provides snacks.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the Facility with the OM. Required posted materials, including the Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610), Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148), Parents' Rights Poster (PUB 393), Personal Rights (LIC 613A), Child Car Seat Law (PUB 269) and Daily Activity Schedule were observed.
The facility passed the fire inspection on 11/06/2025. LPA observed fully charged Fire Extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detector, First Aid Kits in classrooms. The detector was out of battery, the OM stated will replace battery and show proof to LPA. Furniture and equipment were observed to be age appropriate and in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, sharps, and other items that are dangerous to children were stored inaccessible. Restrooms for children to use were observed to be in operating condition. The OM checked the toilets flush and hand wash faucets. Play equipment were maintained in a good condition, free of hazards. The facility does not provide transportation to children.
The teacher/child ratio was in compliance during today's inspection. There were 12 children with 3 teachers in the room 1. There were 11 children with 4 teachers in the preschool room 3. There were 10 children with 3 teachers in the room 4.
