Licensing Program Analysts (LPA's) Anna Morales and Shine Yu conducted an unannounced Subsequent complaint investigation to deliver the findings for the above allegations. LPA's were greeted by Executive Director Lucille Gabriel and Director Betty Robles.

On 9/5/24,9/17/24 and on 9/23/24, LPA Morales conducted interviews with staff, parents and children. Both the staff and the parents, stated that they have never seen staff handle the children handled in a rough manner nor observe staff use inappropriate discipline practices with day care child. Parents stated that they don't have any concerns with the how the staff are treating their child(ren). Children stated that they like coming to school and like their teachers. Children stated that the teachers(staff) will counsel them on what they did wrong and advise them how to act appropriately. Children stated that the teachers have never grabbed them in a rough manner.

Staff stated that they received training on how to counsel and advise the children on how to act appropriately on a monthly basis in their team meetings.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the above allegation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.


NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND DIRECTOR WAS INFORMED TO POST THE NOTICE IN A VISIBLE LOCATION OF THE DAY CARE FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS.
