25 | On April 15, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marilou Monico conducted an unannounced Annual Random inspection. LPA met with Administrator, Ianina Titoruk, and Head of School, Cynthia Ginther, and explained to them the purpose of today's visit. LPA provided Cynthia with the Entrance Checklist - Child Care Centers (LIC 125). The facility operates Monday thru Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The preschool program is licensed to serve children ages 2 years to entry into first grade in Rooms 1 thru 6.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility. LPA observed five staff with 15 children in Room 6, one teacher with eight children in Room 5, one teacher with nine children in Room 4, and Rooms 1 thru 3 were vacant. LPA reviewed and obtained copy of children's roster. Fire/Disaster Drill was conducted on March 30, 2026. The rooms have age-appropriate materials, toys, furnishing, equipment, & adequate storage for children’s belongings. The children's napping equipment were observed to be stored in a healthful manner. Bedding is provided by the center and is washed weekly or as needed. LPA observed required size fire extinguisher, functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The children and staff bathrooms are clean, sanitary, and operable.
The center provides snacks and lunch to children. There is a kitchen in Room 6 for food preparation. The kitchen is equipped with stoves, oven, microwaves, dishwasher, refrigerator, and a sink with hot and cold running water. All center provided food items are stored separately from cleaning supplies. LPA observed trash cans with tight fitting covers for the disposal of solid wastes. Drinking water is available to children both indoors and outdoors through individual water bottles, pitchers, and disposable cups.
