25 | At 1:55 P.M., Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Syeda Bahar and Angela Luz and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Belinda Devall met with licensee Sonya Richie for the purpose of an UNANNOUNCED PLAN OF CORRECTION (POC) INSPECTION. Present for this inspection was two fingerprint cleared daughters, an assistant and four preschoolers. The outdoor play area was toured to review the pool safety requirements for compliance for a deficiency issued on 01/29/2025.
During the observation of the pool, there is an access gate that opens away from the swimming pool and is self-closing with a self-latching, key lockable device placed no lower than 60 inches above the ground, A maximum vertical clearance of two inches from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure and no gaps in the fencing. There is an alarm that will sound upon detecting an entrance into the water. The alarm was turned on and in working condition during the inspection. There is a life ring with a minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches with a United States Coast Guard approval label and a rescue pole with a body hook and a minimum fixed length of 12 feet.
Previously, the back yard was placed OFF LIMITS while the pool safety requirements were being completed. With a review for compliance today, the back yard is ON LIMITS.
The deficiency is cleared during today's visit. There were no deficiencies cited today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days and a copy of the appeal rights. Exit interview was conducted with licensee Sonya Richie. |
