13 | On 02/27/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaime Gonzales conducted an unannounced complaint visit to discuss and deliver investigation findings for the above allegation. LPA was granted access to the facility by Site Director, Marija Palihnic Fisher and explained the purpose of today’s visit.
During today’s inspection, LPA toured the facility and took a census in the preschool and toddler classroom.s LPA observed 19 napping preschoolers and 2 staff in Classroom A, 21 napping preschoolers and 2 staff in Classroom B, 11 napping preschoolers and one staff in Classroom C, and 10 napping toddlers and 2 staff in Early Montessori.
During this investigation, LPA conducted observations, interviewed staff, interviewd children, parents and reviewed relevant records.
It was alleged that a child was being bullied. LPA interviewed parents, children, and staff. All parents stated that their child did not experience bullying at the facility. 4 out of 5 staff stated that when they see children having difficult behaviors they talk to the children regarding their behavior and how to understand the other child’s perspective. 5 our of 5 staff stated that if the behaviors were consistent a meeting with the parents and Site Director and teachers would be scheduled to discuss the behavior. During children interviews, children stated when they are having a difficult time with their friends their teachers ask them not to hit, tell them do to something else, stop playing with that friend and pick another job or friend or walk the circle.
