25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kate Huang met with Licensee, Thang, Noeun for an unannounced annual inspection. LPA explained the nature of today’s inspection to Licensee. Present were licensee, her husband, her son, 2 infants and 3 preschooler during today's inspection. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00pm. The adults that reside in the home are licensee, her spouse, her son and her nephew.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home with the licensee during today’s inspection. Required posting materials were observed outside the entrance of the home. LPA noted that there were sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment available for the daycare children. The home was clean, orderly, and well-organized, with numerous plants both inside and outside.
The home has central heating, cooling, and proper ventilation to ensure the comfort of the children. Indoor furniture and equipment were observed to be age-appropriate, in good condition, and free of sharp edges, loose parts, or pointed objects. No disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, or other hazardous items were observed to be accessible to children.
The bathroom used by the children was in proper working condition, with clean and operable toilets and faucets. The facility’s outdoor area is enclosed with appropriate fencing. LPA observed that the outdoor play equipment is age-appropriate and in good condition.
LPA observed that the licensee and her two assistants—her husband and son—each have current CPR/First Aid certifications and mandated reporter training certificates. Additionally, LPA noted a current roster of children and a fire and disaster drill log, which is required to be completed at least once every six months. The most recent fire drill was conducted on 06/20/2025.
LPA reviewed the files of all five children present, as well as the files of the licensee and staff. All required documents were present for both the children and staff. Infants have individual sleep plans, and their 15-minute sleep logs are up to date. LPA also reviewed the liability insurance, which is valid until 08/05/2025.
