Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mel Matos met with Tiffany Brunnings, Executive Director, for an unannounced case management inspection. Purpose of today's inspection: discuss playground renovations for two of the three outdoor preschool playground areas.

The Facility currently has three preschool playground areas (Yard 1, 2, & 3). Tiffany states that the playground renovations for Yards 2 & 3 are scheduled for February 1, 2023 to April 19, 2023 (Phase I) and April 19, 2023 to May 9, 2023 (Phase II).

Tiffany states that the dimensions of Yards 2 & 3 playground areas will not change. Tiffany states that artificial turf and new play structures are scheduled to be installed in each playground.

Tiffany states that the preschool will utilize the Central Park Room and the School Age playground (Yard 1) for additional indoor/outdoor motor skill activities space.

Tiffany states that the Facility is considering adding the Cisco Gym for additional motor activity space during the Phase I and Phase II playground renovations. LPA advised Tiffany that she will have to submit a request to the Department to add the Cisco Gym to the existing license.

Tiffany states that she will a submit a waiver request to the Department requesting temporary usage of the School Age playground (Yard 1) for additional indoor/outdoor activities during the Phase I and Phase II playground renovations. Tiffany states that she will also include updated Facility sketches and usage schedules to reflect the temporary usage of the School Age playground (Yard 1) and Cisco Gym.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Executive Director, Tiffany Brunnings. No deficiencies issued during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
