Personal Rights - Child received unexplained injury while in care

On 5/5/2025 at 10:51am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Director Rochelle Westmoreland to deliver findings for a complaint that was received alleging a child's personal rights had been violated. Present during LPAs visit were twelve (12) preschool age children, and two (2) additional staff members. The facility has an infant component as well (434411986).

During LPAs investigation, interviews were conducted, observations were conducted, and additional documents were collected. It was alleged that a child sustained unexplained injuries in care. Due to conflicting information collected, LPA determined although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Exit interview conducted with Director Rochelle Westmoreland and Notice of Site Visit provided and must be posted for 30 days.

Present during LPAs visit were twelve (12) preschool age children, and two (2) additional staff members. The facility has an infant component as well (434411986).

During LPAs investigation, interviews were conducted, and additional documents were collected. It was alleged that staff did not report injuries to child's authorized representative. Due to conflicting information collected, LPA determined although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
