LPA received an email from the property manager during the inspection indicating that the center does have the exclusive use of the playground.

Site Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

LPA reviewed three staff files (S1, S2, and S3) for the following records: Health Screening Report (LIC 503) and TB test, Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse (LIC 9108), Employee rights (LIC 9052), staff qualifications, immunizations in measles, pertussis and influenza, and required training. S1 is missing immunizations in measles and influenza. S3's Mandated Reporter Training is expired. LPA informed Site Director to obtain immunization records for measles and influenza for S1, as well as current certification for S3, and to place them in their respective files. Site Director was reminded of their responsibility to renew CPR/First Aid and Mandated Reporter Training every two years.
