| Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kate Huang and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Gladys Kuizon conducted an unannounced Annual inspection today and met with licensee, Deng, Zhao Hui.
LPA and LPM arrived at 12:50 PM and observed that there are 9 children present, including three infants. Licensee and two staffs are present.
The licensee said that they provide 1 lunch and 2 snacks everyday for the children.
LPA and LPM toured the home during the nap time. Two infants are observed to sleep in the crib with a loose blanket. One infant is sleeping in one bedroom which is not approved to use by San Jose Fire Department.
LPA and LPM observed that some infants' milk bottles are not labeled. Licensee stated that infants bring their own milk.
The licensee said that there are no firearms or guns inside and they do not provide overnight care.The home also has carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and smoke detector devices.
The outdoor area is inspected and no body of water is accessible.

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
