25 | On January 25, 2023, at 1:15 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with licensee Nolvia Chacon for an Unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the licensee. Present during the inspection were the licensee's fingerprint cleared assistants and one infant child. The licensee is in ratio today. Licensee stated that the facility operates from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. This single story home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. The Isolation area of the home will be a section of the living room, away from other children in care.
There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on-limit areas during today's inspection. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection.
The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, dual working smoke / carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, and telephone. There’s a fireplace in the living room that has a barricade to prevent access by children. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. LPA asked the licensee does she transport children and the licensee stated that she does not transport children.
ON LIMIT AREAS: the living and dining room area (activity area), the hallway bathroom, bedroom 1 next to the hallway bathroom, and backyard
OFF LIMIT AREAS: the kitchen, the master bedroom with master bathroom, bedroom (2), the right and left side of backyard, and the garage.
