25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Shine Yu, conducted an unannounced Annual inspection today and met with director, Josefina Garcia.
The Facility is licensed to serve age 3 to 5 years old children. Hours of operation 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM Monday to Friday. The director stated the facility did not have weapons on the premises, and there is no smoking on the premises. The facility provides breakfast and lunch. Both meals were provided by Alum Rock school district.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the Facility with the director. Required posted materials, including the Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610), Parents' Rights Poster (PUB 393), Personal Rights (LIC 613A), Child Car Seat Law (PUB 269) were observed.
The facility passed the fire inspection on 07/30/2025. LPA observed fully charged Fire Extinguisher, smoke/carbon monoxide detector, First Aid Kit, central heating and air condition in classroom K2. Furniture and equipment were observed to be age appropriate and in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, sharps, and other items were stored in locked cabin which are inaccessible to children. LPA observed 2 toilets in restroom for children to use. They were observed to be in operating condition. Play equipment were maintained in a good condition. The facility does not provide transportation to children.
The disaster drills was conducted on 03/10/2026, and LPA stated it shall be conducted at least every six months and be maintained for at least one year. LPA reviewed facility's sign in/out system from center iPad.
The teacher/child ratio was in compliance during today's inspection. There were total 14 children taking nap during inspection with 3 staff in the classroom K2.
