There is material under high climbing structures. Shade is provided by canopies and building overhangs. Children bring their own water bottles during outdoor time. No bodies of water were observed during today’s inspection.
Cleaning solutions are stored in upper cabinet in each classroom. There are sufficient tables, chairs, cubbies, and mats for preschool children. There is adequate equipment, supplies, and toys for the children in all classrooms. LPAs observed trash can with tight fitting lid for the disposal of solid waste in each classroom. Drinking water is available to children via individual bottle and water filter system in the classrooms. LPAs observed functioning smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in each classroom.
LPAs observed the following inside the preschool and toddler component classrooms: 196 cubbies, 144 hooks, 160 chairs, 16 feeding chairs, 18 sinks, 145 cots, 30 tables and 11 toilets.
Facility provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, AM/PM snacks. Meals are prepared in the facility’s kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, hot and cold running water, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. The center will not provide transportation.
Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
