1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Licensing Program Analysts(LPA's) Anna Morales and Pete Hernandez conducted case management inspection: The Facility is requesting to add a Toddler Option (24 children) to the existing license and converting the Early Preschool classroom for the Toddler Option component. The capacity remains unchanged at 142 children. The center's operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45-6:00pm. LPA's toured and measured Room #4 ( Kaveri) encumbered space during today's inspection. Center is currently licensed in Rooms 1, 3, 4 ,5 ,6, and 7. LPA's observed 28 chairs, five tables, 24 cots, three sinks and two toilets inside Classroom 4. Classroom 4 (26.667 X 30.417) + (22.167 X 3.000) +7.750 X 7.500) = 935.756 Minus (encumbered space) 85.796 = 849.960 TOTAL INDOOR SPACE: = *849.960* divided by 35 = *24.284 toddlers option children. OUTDOOR MEASUREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:* Infant Playground (#434417022): 999.75 total sq.ft divided by 75 = 13 Children.

Director states that there were no changes to the facility layouts since the inspection on 4/23/2020; therefore, the indoor space was not measured during today's inspection.

INDOOR MEASUREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Room 1 = (33 X 28.250) - (encumbered) 79.604 = 861.646

Room 3 = 945.504 - (encumbered) 90.283 = 855.221

Toddler Room: Classroom 4 (26.667 X 30.417) + (22.167 X 3.000) +(7.750 X 7.500) = 935.756 Minus (encumbered space) 85.796 = 849.960

TOTAL INDOOR SPACE:
4,986.744sq. ft divided by 35 children/sq. ft = 142 children or 24 Toddlers and 118 Preschoolers.

There are 14 sinks and 13 toilets (2 sinks and 2 toilets in each classroom and one toilet/2 sinks/one urinal located in the outdoor area). (Please note, the Toddler Room 4 has 3 of the sinks and 2 of the toilets.)Three staff restrooms (located in the front office area) of which one is used for a sick child. Sick children are isolated in the Director's office and isolation equipment is provided.

Directors was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see PIN 22-02-CCP. A Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA's discussed the safe sleep regulations with Directors and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at: https://www cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-andresources/safe-sleep, as an additional resource. LPA also informed Directors of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at: https://www.cpsc.gov/, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.

Director was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director

Please NOTE: Director stated that she will be submitting a Shared Playground Waiver with both Infant Center (434417022) and Preschool Center.

Licensure of Toddler option pending on final Management review and approval.

A notice of site visit was given to Director and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
