32 | A review of staff records during today's visit indicates that both Helen Boluna and Encarran Buendia have received criminal background and child abuse index clearance and are associated to this facility. LPA reminded directors of the applicable civil penalties for those adults who have not received fingerprint clearances, are not associated to the license and who come in contact with or provide care and supervision to the children. Penalty amounts: $100.00 per person per day, minimum of $100.00 to a maximum of $500.00 per person for an initial violation and a minimum of $100.00 to a maximum of $3000.00 per person for any subsequent violation within a 12-month period.
Child Care Center Lead Testing of Drinking Water Requirement
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018 requires:
Health and Safety Code section 1597.16 requires that all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) that were constructed before January 1, 2010, must test their water for lead within a three-year window, between January 1, 2020, and January 1, 2023, with subsequent testing every 5 years after the date of the first test. Only CCCs are required to test drinking and cooking water for lead.
Exit interview was conducted, where this report was reviewed with Site Directors Helen Boluna and Encarnacion Buendia .
Based on measurements and availability of sinks and toilets a license for 24 children will be approved pending Managements approval.
A read receipt notification in lieu of a signature will be sent to Applicant, acknowledge of receipt received must be acknowledged within 24 hours. License will not be issued until verification of the report is received. |
