25 | On 5/11/26, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Morales conducted am Unannounced random inspection, and was met with Licensee Yelena Rey. Licensee stated that she is the only adult that reside at the facility. LPA observed six preschool aged children being present. Licensee was operating within her capacity and ratio requirements. LPA observed the required postings, including the facility license. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:30am- 5:30pm. Licensee doesn't provide transportation to the children at this time. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. LPA observed a current Children's roster. Last disaster drill was conducted on 5/11/26/
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's visit. The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. The home is clean, orderly, including heating and air conditioning, for safety & comfort. LPA observed combo smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, and a 3A10BC Fire Extinguisher. No bodies of water observed. Observed sufficient toys, play equipment, and materials for day care children. Licensee stated that she does not have any weapons/ammunition in the home. Children have access to living room(day care), bedroom in day care area, hallway bathroom and dining area. The kitchen is off limits and second bedroom.
