25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Shine Yu and Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Gladys Kuizon conducted an unannounced Annual inspection today and met with licensee, Ping Tian.
LPA arrived at 08:40am, conducted facility tour and reviewed records. There were 11 children and 3 staff. LPA observed required posting including Facility License, Parent Rights (PUB394). LPA also observed Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC610A). The facility conducted fire Disaster drills on Sep. 11, 2024. The house is free of odor and pests Age appropriate toys were observed. The bathroom is clean and in good working condition. LPA observed carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector. There is no accessible body of water observed. The outdoor play area is enclosed with appropriate fence and safe for children.

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
