25 | At 8:55 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Syeda Bahar and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Belinda Devall met with Licensee, Eileen Advincula for an unannounced annual/random inspection. Present during the inspection were – The Licensee, Licensee’s spouse, (1) one adult assistant, (2) two infants (1) one preschooler, and licensee's son. Days and hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 p.m. The ages of the children to be served are from 0 months to 6 years. The LPA toured the indoor areas of the home to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection.
ON LIMITS AREA: Playroom, Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Room, and bathroom located on the second floor.
OFF LIMITS AREA: Entire third floor, office on the 1st floor and attached garage.
The home is clean and orderly, with heating/air conditioning, ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA observed a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and working telephone. The Licensee is reminded that the fire extinguisher must be service every year and proof of service must be readily available for review. The Licensee was reminded to conduct and document fire and disaster drill every six months. There are ample age-appropriate toys that appear to be safe and in good condition. The bathroom is observed to be clean, sanitary, and operable. There are no bodies of water observed. Cleaning products, disinfectants, sharp objects were stored and inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment were observed to be age appropriate and in good condition. For outdoor play, the Licensee takes the children to a gated park.
Licensee has a valid CPR and First Aid, completed on 09/15/2024 (expires September 2026). Licensee completed Mandated Reporter training on 09/23/2021. One adult assistant does not have proof of completion for mandated reporter training. Licensee was reminded of Mandated Reporter Training (AB1207) and CPR, First aid certifications needs to be renewed every two years. Licensee was reminded that all immunization records are needed to be available for review and on file. Per Licensee, there are no firearms in the home. Child’s records are available for review. Children files do not contain all required forms. Licensee does not have all REQUIRED forms posted and visible for public review.
