Outdoor space was measured to ensure that there is at least 75 square feet of outdoor activity space per child based on the total licensed capacity.

Preschool Main-Yard # 1
= (Total sq. ft.) – (Encumbered Space) = (13,884.48 sq. ft.) – (104.07 sq. ft.)

There are separate staff restrooms that can be utilized by sick children with appropriate equipment. Each room is equipped with first aid materials supplies stored inaccessible to children. the facility follows Public Health's Departments' COVID-19 Guidelines and Protocols. Facility has a specific plan to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces and laundry are completed. Staff will disinfect classrooms and toys daily and as needed. A functioning fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detectors were observed. LPA observed age appropriate outdoor play equipment for the preschool and there are resilient materials under climbing play structure. The outdoor play space is surrounded by fencing. Shade is provided by canopy and tress. Water is readily available to children, children are also in courage to bring their own water bottles. LPA did not observe any bodies of water during the visit. Currently there two play- yard, Play yard two (2) is under renovation and the preschool will not be using it at this time. Following the completion of renovation the preschool authority will inform the Community Care Licensing Office when the Play yard two will be accessible/ open to children while in care. The facility will not provide transportation.
Facility has sufficient and age appropriate toys, furniture, and equipment. LPA observed feeding chairs, and cubbies. Sleeping area for infants is located in room There are sufficient mats and cots resting/napping children. The Facility provides Lunch, and Morning and Afternoon snacks. Menu is posted. Food can be stored and prepared in the kitchen area. There are sinks with hot/cold running water, refrigerator, and microwave available. LPA observed solid waste containers with tight-fitting lids. Areas designated for storage of detergents, cleaning compounds, sharps, medicines, and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children are inaccessible to infants.
Director meets Director’s Educational Qualification requirement. There is at least one staff with current certification for preventive health practices training, which included current pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid certification. Director maintains documentation of immunity against Measles and Pertussis and required training. Background Check Clearance has been completed.
