32 | Applicant Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, responsible for the administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA reviewed with Facility Representatives the LIC 311A, Records to Be Maintained at The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted. Assembly Bill (AB 633) was discussed with Facility Representatives. Facility Representatives were informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and resource and referral agencies (R&R) throughout California.
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. To receive important licensed related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication.
LPA and LPM advised Applicant Representative that a license for 8 children in the infant program will be approved upon completing the following items:
1) Install at least four feet partition separating the crib area from the activity area in the infant room.
2) Install a partition/gate separating the activity area from the diaper changing/bathroom area.
3) Install at least four feet partition/gate separating the Infant Indoor Play Room from the lobby/hallway.
4) Proof of purchase of trash cans for the disposable of solid waste and for the disposable of diapers.
5) Submit copy of Infant Needs and Services Plan and updated job descriptions and lines of supervision.
6) Infant playground is fully set up
7) Hot water in the faucet located in the kitchen.
8) Updated Application for Child Care Center License (LIC 200A)
