On 5/27/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Liridon Fici (Doni) conducted an unannounced complaint Investigation and met with Director, Smitaben Mistry “ Sneha” and informed her of the purpose of today’s visit. LPA also gathered a census of children.

During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with staff and obtained documents.

It was alleged that staff are kissing children in care and that staff are taking pictures of children using personal phones. Based on interviews conducted, staff stated that the center has a no kissing policy, and that the Director and Licensee reminds staff daily not to kiss children in care. Staff reported that hugging children is permitted. Staff interviewed denied witnessing any staff kissing children. When asked about the center’s personal phone policy, staff stated that personal phones are not allowed to be used during work hours.

Staff reported that the facility provides a work phone for taking photos or videos of children, which are then shared with parents of that child. The Director stated that parents can view photos and videos of their child through the Pro Care app.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Beri, Aakriti along with appeal rights provided.
