32 | LPA Kaur advised the facility must be kept free of flies, other insects & rodents. LPA observed that all furniture and equipment indoor are in good condition and safe for the children. The parents will be providing snacks and lunch for the children. The kitchen in toddler room is equipped with a sink that has hot and cold running water, crock pot for bottle warming, small refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen has plenty of storage spaces. Disposable dishes and utensils will be utilized by the facility.
There are 8 small chairs, 2 table, 8 feeding chairs, 2 cribs, 6 mats, and 8 cubbies available for the infants.
There are 10 chairs, 12 cots, 3 tables, 12 cubbies, 1 changing table, 1 toilet with sink available for toddlers.
Outdoor total measurements contain a total of {974.65} square feet, which will not accommodate Applicant’s requested capacity
Facility is requesting waiver to use outdoor shared space with infants and toddler. Facility has designated patio and green yard for infant/toddler component. Shade is provided by deck/patio area. LPA observed that the Infant Playground is surrounded by appropriate fencing and the outdoor surfaces are safe. Drinking water outdoor is provided via Sippy cups and bottles. No bodies of water were observed.
Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated |
