On 10/29/24, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Janette Cruz and Harsimran Kaur met with Applicant Representative, Ifat Kantorovich. The purpose of the visit was an unannounced prelicensing inspection at the facility to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. The facility has an existing preschool program Facility # 434408052 with a capacity of 48 preschool and 12 toddler children which will be converted to a single license upon completion of the inspection process. Applicant is requesting to add an infant component and be licensed for 9 infants (ages 6 weeks - 24 months) in the infant classroom with 12 toddlers (ages 18 - 36 months) in toddler room and 48 preschoolers (ages 2-5 years) in classrooms #1,2 3 and 5. Hours of operation will be Monday to Thursdays 07:30 AM to 5:30PM and on Fridays 7:30 - 4:00PM. Fire clearance was granted on 05/27/24. Facility is located in a synagogue community, Congregation Sinai.

LPAs discussed with Applicant that inspection cannot be completed during today's pre-licensing visit since infant classroom does not yet have available infant equipment (i.e cribs, changing table). LPAs informed Applicant that complete set-up of the classroom is required to obtain accurate measurement of the classroom and to determine license capacity. Applicant shall advise LPAs once the facility is ready for pre-licensing inspection.

An exit interview was conducted and a copy of appeal rights and this report was provided to the Applicant Representative, Ifat Kantorovich.
