LPAs observed containers with tight-fitting covers for the disposal of solid waste in each room. LPAs observed smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and adequate lighting in each classroom. The facility has central heating and air conditioning.
The following outdoor measurements were taken on 03/01/23 by LPAs Monico and Berumen:
OUTDOOR MEASUREMENTS:
INFANT PLAYGROUND: 47.417 x 41.750 = 1,979.659
1/2 (11.750 x 19.583) = 115.050
22.000 x 27.333 = 601.326
TOTAL INFANT OUTDOOR SPACE = 2,696.035 sq. ft. divided by 75 = 35 children
LPAs observed that the playground is surrounded with appropriate fencing and the outdoor surfaces are safe. Shade is provided by trees. The areas under and around the play structures are cushioned with sand. Drinking water is provided via individual water bottles/sippy cups. LPAs did not observed bodies of water.
