25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anna Morales conducted an ANNUAL REQUIRED visit and was met with Licensee. Present were licensee and her daughter. LPA observed three preschool aged children. Licensee was operating within her capacity and ratio requirements. LPA observed the required postings, including the facility license. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm. The adults that reside in the home are licensee,her husband and two daughters. LPA observed a current roster. Last disaster drill was conducted on 2/19/25. Licensee stated that she does not provided transportation for the children.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's inspection. The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. The home is two story. LPA observed barricaded stairs, and a covered fireplace in the front living room. On-limit areas of the day care consist of the Day Care Room, two bathrooms and one bedroom downstairs kitchen and the front yard. Off limit areas inside the home are: the entire upstairs, and one bedroom downstairs. Off limit areas outdoor: the entire back yard(fenced). LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher, -smoke and carbon monoxide detector.
