25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kate Huang met with Licensee, Zhang, Peiming for an unannounced annual inspection. LPA explained the nature of today’s inspection to Licensee. Present were licensee, 3 infants, licensee's spouse, brother and sister-in-law during today's inspection. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. The adults that reside in the home are licensee, her spouse, brother and sister-in-law. Licensee stated that the spouse fully moved in and resided here since January 6th 2025 but the spouse does not have fingerprint clearance and is not associated to the licence. LPA observed that the brother and sister-in-law are also taking care of children.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's inspection with the licensee. Required materials were observed posted near the entrance. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. The home has heating and ventilation for comfort of children. LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher and working smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. The Licensee states that she does not have any weapons in the home. All detergents, cleaning compounds, poisons, medications, sharp objects and other similar items were observed to be stored inaccessible to children. Licensee understands that smoking is prohibited in the home. The licensee stated that one infant sleeps in one bedroom which is"off-limits"during nap time. Two infants use cribs separately for napping in two different bedrooms and one infant uses mat to sleep in the living room.
LPA observed licensee has current CPR and First Aid certification which expires in 08/2025. LPA reviewed children's files. One infant who is less than 12 months does not have all the required documents, including Infant Sleeping Plan, LIC 282, immunization record, LIC 700, LIC 627, LIC 995. Additionally, the licensee also cannot provide some required documents for the other two infants, including LIC 282, immunization records, LIC 627, LIC 995. Licensee cannot provide infants' every 15 minutes checking documents. LPA reviewed staff's records. Licensee, sister-in-law and brother have immunization records and TB test results.
