25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Kate Huang, met with Licensee Zhang, Peiming to conduct inspection for increase capacity. Upon arrival, one preschooler and two infants were present. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 08:30 AM-6:00PM. LPA explained the nature of today’s inspection to Licensee. Licensee stated that adults over the age of 18 living in the home are licensee, her spouse, her brother and her sister-in-law.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's inspection with the licensee. Required materials were observed posted near the entrance. The home is clean, orderly, including heating and air conditioning, for safety & comfort. LPA observed a fully charged 3A10BC fire extinguisher and working smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. The licensee stated that she does not have any weapons in the home. Licensee has play area for the children in the backyard of the home. All toys and equipment were observed to be age-appropriate, in good condition, and free of sharp edges, loose parts, or pointed objects. No disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, or other hazardous items were observed to be accessible to children.
LPA observed licensee has current CPR and First Aid certification, which will expire in 08/2027. LPA observed a current roster of the children and a fire and disaster drill log, which is conducted every six months. The last drill was conducted in February 2026. LPA reviewed the records of the three children present, and all required documents were in the files, including consent forms for emergency medical treatment, Parents’ Rights receipts, immunization records, Identification and Emergency Information forms, individual infant sleeping plans, LIC 9224 forms, and 15-minute sleep logs. The facility carries liability insurance.
