25 | On July 30, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marilou Monico, conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by Licensee, Yang Yang. Also present were Licensee’s dad (A1), Licensee’s adult assistant (S1), and seven daycare children including three infants and four preschool age. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:40 AM to 6:00 PM. During the inspection, four additional children arrived at the home, consisting of one infant and three preschool age.
LPA toured the home inside and outside with Licensee. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the kitchen, bathroom, living room, family room, and Bedroom 2 on the first floor are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of a baby gate and doors.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible by a glass door and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher (3A40BC), smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a two-story home. When LPA arrived in the home, the safety gate was positioned to the side of the bottom staircase. During the inspection, Licensee installed the gate at the bottom of the stairs. LPA advised Licensee that the safety gate must remain in place at all times whenever children under 5 years old are present in the home. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number.
