A Case Management Inspection was conducted on this date 3/23/2023 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji. LPA met with Director, Ashley Lee. An application was submitted for an Addition of Room(s) with no change in capacity. The center has requested to add the MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM and PLAYGROUND B as licensed space. The program is already licensed for 13 rooms and 1 playground (Rms 110 through 117, Rms 120 through 123, the library and playground A). Hours of operation are from 7:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday. Also present during today's visit were 16 staff members and 127 children. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. Measurements of classrooms were taken during LPA's visit on 11/15/2022. LPA measured Playground B during today's visit. Overall measurements for facility is as follows:

INDOORS: 10015.75 square feet = 286 Children
OUTDOORS: 15351.04 square feet = 204 Children

The center has obtained an approved fire inspection clearance from the Milpitas Fire Department on 3/14/2023.
Building is located within Beresford Square Plaza. The preschool rooms are equipped with varied age appropriate materials and equipment. Facility will provide AM/PM snacks and will have catered lunch brought in via ChoiceLunch. Menu is posted at least one week in advance in a place visible for the authorized representative to see. The sick room and isolation bathroom will serve as isolation areas for sick children. Cots were observed today. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector and fire extinguisher. Facility will utilize an electronic sign in/out software that has a separate PIN/login for each authorized representative. Logs indicate census is accurate on today's date. Per Director, all Opening and Closing staff have current Pediatric CPR/First Aid. Playground equipment is in good condition. All licensing required documents are posted.

The center was found to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. There are no deficiencies cited during today's visit. A license approving use of the Multi-Purpose Room and Playground B, and previously licensed space Classrooms 110 through 117, Classrooms 120 through 123, Library and Playground A is effective on today's date, 3/23/2023.
An exit interview was conducted with Director, Ashley Lee. Notice of Site Visit provided and must remain posted for the next 30 days.
