Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elizabeth Larios conducted an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver complaint findings. LPA met with the Director, Alejandrina Perez and informed her of the purpose of the visit. The Department received a complaint alleging that a child was inappropriately touched while in care. As part of the investigation, LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility, conducted interviews, and obtained relevant documents.

Based on the information obtained, there was no evidence to indicate that a child (C1) was inappropriately touched while in care. Individuals interviewed did not report concerns regarding physical interactions, and no disclosures or statements supported the allegation. Records review and observations revealed no indicators of inappropriate conduct or unsafe practices.

Based on the information gathered, there is not a preponderance of evidence to support that the alleged violation occurred. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

There were no deficiencies cited.

Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Alejandrina Perez. Appeal Rights were given.

A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED ON OR ADJACENT TO THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE MAIN DOOR INTO THE FACILITY FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
