A case management inspection was conducted today at 10:45am by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez in response to a request for a temporary change of location. The facility is located in Classroom #30 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School. LPA met with facility representative Colleen Dugan. The requested capacity is 24. The facility operates August - June, Monday - Friday; morning program operates 8:15am - 11:15am, the afternoon program operates 12:15pm - 3:15pm.

The indoor and outdoor activity space was toured. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided through the school district and prepared off-site. The isolation area for sick children will be located in the cubby area. There is a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fully charged fire extinguisher. Cubbies are available for children to use. All Exits are marked. The required postings (Parents Personal Rights, Emergency Disaster Plan, Earthquake Preparedness Checklist, Menu, etc.) are posted in a visible area in the classroom.

A waiver request was submitted for children to temporarily use the East side field for the outdoor play area. The facility representative agrees that children shall be escorted to and from the temporary outdoor play area. The outdoor play area is fully fenced. There are no play structures on the field. Grass provides cushioning underneath. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises. A capacity worksheet was completed during the visit. There is enough indoor space for 25 children and outdoor space for more than the requested capacity of 24. A waiver request was submitted for children to share the "Girls" bathroom which has 5 toilets and two sinks with TK and kindergarten children. Based on the above, the maximum capacity of the facility could be 25.
