13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Snow and Cunningham conducted an inspection and met with Licensee Tammy Trede to deliver complaint findings. It has been alleged that Licensee Trede’s conduct poses a risk to daycare children; specifically, Licensee Trede appeared intoxicated one afternoon in February 2023. It was reported, Licensee Trede would not make eye contact with Adult 2 and Licensee Trede appeared confused because she was looking for Child 1’s jacket when Child 1 was wearing the jacket and standing approximately three feet away from Licensee Trede.
The licensee was interviewed on 3/9/23 at 1:40pm and stated that she does not drink alcohol and was not intoxicated while providing care for children in February 2023. The licensee stated she may have appeared tired because she was working full time and going to school full time. Through the course of the investigation, starting from 03/09/2023 through 05/8/2023, LPA interviewed the licensee, assistant, three witnesses, six parents, and four children. On 03/9/23, 3/29/23, 4/7/23, 5/1/23, and 5/9/23, LPA toured the home and observed Licensee Trede providing adequate supervision in an appropriate manner. During LPAs inspections, LPAs did not observe Licensee Trerde exhibit signs of intoxication.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. Appeal rights were provided, and an exit interview was conducted. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
