13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) N. Cunningham conducted a subsequent inspection at 3:15pm on 03/02/23 and met with Licensee Riddle. It has been alleged that the licensee was operating out of ratio; specifically, the licensee was providing care for seven infants in early December 2022. The licensee denied the allegation and provided attendance records which indicated the licensee was operating within regulation. On December 15, 2022, LPA observed the licensee and assistant providing care for ten children. On December 21, 2022, LPA observed the licensee and assistant providing care for five children. During today’s inspection, LPA observed the licensee and assistant providing care for ten children. On all three dates, LPA observed the licensee operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated. Appeal rights were provided, and an exit interview was conducted. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
