| One staff (S1) was interviewed on 4/23/25 and stated they always check the capacity worksheet to make sure they are operating within regulation. S1 also added they clean the kitchen after meals but sometimes dishes sit in the sink for a bit. S1 stated they do not allow children to use the trampoline during daycare hours and do not allow children to use the bouncer during daycare hours.
Three children were interviewed on 4/23/25. All the children stated they play with toys in the back yard. The three children did not disclose details the licensee operated over capacity or details that the home is unsanitary.
Three parents were interviewed on 6/18/25 and 6/19/25. Three parents reported they do not count children at the facility but they have not been concerned with the number of children the licensee was supervising. Two parents reported children do not bounce on the trampoline. One parent reported observing children jump on the trampoline. Two parents reported the facility is cluttered but is sanitary. One parent reported an item that was not sanitary but stated children were not close to the unsanitary item.
During today’s inspection, LPA observed the licensee operating within licensed capacity. LPA did not observe children jumping on the trampoline or sitting in a bouncer. LPA did not observe spoiled food or hazards in the kitchen.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee C. Kincade. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
