25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Melchisedeck Augustin made an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit and met with Licensee (LS), Sandra Galileo to follow up on an outstanding type A deficiency that was cited on 01/05/24. On 03/26/24, the Licensee submitted a photograph which depicted installation of new wrought iron fence was installed and secured to existing perimeter fencing.
During today's visit, LPA took a tour of the yard and observed the gate that led into the pool was close. The hot tub in the yard was latched, inaccessible and there was no direct access. The above ground pool was positioned behind the newly installed wrought iron fencing that was secured to the wooden perimeter fencing that were at least five feet in height; and the pool gate was wrought iron which swung away from the body of water. Based on LPA's observation of the fencing, the pool was completely surrounded by five feet fencing, there was no direct access to the pool; and the facility appeared to be complying with pool fencing requirements. LPA cleared the type A deficiency and provided the Licensee with a copy of the clearance letter. LPA advised the Licensee to post the POC clearance letter and this report.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Sandra Galileo. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. The were no violation(s) of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, observed during today’s visit. |
