An informal conference was conducted virtually today by Licensing Program Manager, Leslie Lepori, and Licensing Program Analyst, Elpidia Hernandez Torres, who met with Director Bonnie Yip and Regional Director, Vanessa Stevenson, to discuss the following items:

- The outcomes of the six complaints filed over the past year, specifically two complaints resulting in four citations issued in the following areas: two personal rights violations, one for not reporting an incident to CCL, and one for operating out of ratio when unqualified staff were directly supervising children.

- Compliance with physical plant items and ensuring children have a safe and healthful environment such as equipment in good repair including the fencing and playground structures; items do not present a fall hazard; and pest control including yellow jackets/wasps.

- The steps taken to ensure regulatory compliance such as personal rights training, additional staffing, documenting staff qualifications, sufficient or increased supervision, reporting incidents, open communication between staff and Director to report possible deficiency, and increased playground safety.

- Referral to Technical Support Program, a non-enforcement program to allow further guidance and resources to assist in regulatory compliance.

The parties acknowledged the issues discussed in which the facility has taken positive steps to address. This report will be provided to the Licensee for review and signature which will be kept on file. A further conference may be considered should the facility be unable to maintain substantial compliance
