On 6/28/2023 at 910 AM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Helton. Operation hours are 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday–Friday. The facility was toured at 10:00 AM inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. Facility operates in a suite within a shopping center..

The licensee was supervising 7 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. The facility does not have outdoor activity space, they have been cleared to use the inside gym space next door for 30 minutes a day for exercise.

4 children's records were reviewed at 9:22 AM. 1 staff records were reviewed at 9:38 AM.

The following deficiencies were cited, Type B violation for failure to complete water lead testing no later than January 1, 2023.(see LIC 809D):

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

CCC DID NOT COMPLETE TESTING PRIOR TO THEIR DEADLINE.

Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
