25 | An unannounced case management inspection was conducted 4/10/2024 at 9:45am by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Elizabeth Friese. LPA met with licensee Nicollette Yacovetti in response to the request for additional leased outdoor activity space. Licensee was supervising 10 children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements.
The outdoor space was toured at 9:46am, and the facility sketch verified. There is a fully fenced 24' x 42' area behind the facility, surrounded by 4' chain link and there is sufficient space (1008 square feet) to accommodate the capacity of 10. The licensee will be supervising the children the approximately 25' from the back door of the facility to the gated area, which is along the building in a quiet private parking lot. LPA saw no traffic in the lot during inspection. There is no play equipment yet, but licensee indicated that it will be in good repair, age appropriate and used according to manufacturers’ guidelines. The playground will be cushioned with wood bark and free of hazards. Licensee will provide photos to LPA Friese as items are purchased and placed. Due to the urban nature of the neighborhood, the licensee will check the area for hazards each morning prior to children arriving.
There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were provided.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee. |
