25 | A prelicensing inspection for a change of location was conducted today at 9:45am by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Elizabeth Friese. LPA met with licensee Gisel Frias. The licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 14. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. The residence is a 3 bedroom/2 bath single story home. There are 2 adults and 2 minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: outdoor sheds, kitchen, living room, all bedrooms and master bath. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of baby gate, doorknob lock and padlock. Children will be escorted to the bathroom through off-limits areas. The day care will operate in the converted garage. Poisons are locked in one of the outdoor sheds. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace is securely screened with cloth, will not be used while children are in care and is in an off-limits area. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises. |
