On 01/09/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. LPA Fierro met with Director, Barbara Alvarado. LPA explained the allegation, a census was taken, LPA Fierro observed 23 children in care. LPA Fierro toured the inside of the facility. During today’s visit, LPA Fierro inspected classroom 9 (2yrs), classroom 10 (3yrs), and classroom 12 (4yrs). LPA Fierro found the facility classroom 9 (toddler), classroom 10 (3yrs) and classroom 12 (4yrs) to have stained areas on the carpet.

This agency investigated the complaint alleging that the facility carpets are not kept clean. During the course of the investigation, LPA observed the stains on the carpets in classroom 9, classroom 10, and classroom 12.

Based on investigation conducted and observations, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore, the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED.
