25 | On December 19, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Yesenia Fierro conducted a Case Management inspection that was initiated by licensee. LPA met with Director Alexandria Candelar. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside. The purpose for the inspection was to inspect the outdoor playground.
During today’s inspection LPA inspected the playground flooring and play structure. LPA observed all areas that were worn and needed to be replaced have been resurfaced with poured in place rubber. LPA observed adequate cushioning throughout the entire playground. Current play structure was modified, prior to modification play structure had a climbing structure which now has been replaced a plastic ABC panel.
LPA advised staff to conduct frequent safety inspections of the play structure to check for any loose parts, cracks, and hazards. Staff is aware of child safety around the play structure and assumes all responsibility. Staff understands that children must be always supervised while using the play structure. Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards.
Playground will be ready to use effective December 19, 2024.
