25 | On 12/08/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Tabatha Green. Also present was Licensee’s husband/assistant. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 7:30AM-5:30PM.
LPA toured the home inside, outside and a census was taken. This is a single level home and there are no stairs. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the day care room, hallway bathroom, bedroom 3, and side yard are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by child safety gate and locked doors. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. LPA observed a mounted television, child-sized tables, chairs and furniture, cubbies, playhouses, play kitchen, dramatic play, and safe games, toys, and books for the children. There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible by a screen and glass door and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. Licensee reported that there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. The outdoor play area in the side yard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. LPA observed a riding toys, a playhouse and balls in the side yard for children to use while in care.
LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files and observed files were complete with emergency information as required. Licensee’s Mandated Reporter Training was completed on 04/11/2024. Licensee’s pediatric CPR/First Aid certification expires on 07/2027. A review of records indicates that all employees and/or volunteers have immunization records on file for influenza, pertussis and measles. Continued to LIC809-C.
