25 | On 10/08/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection for the preschool license. LPA met with Director Janet Guthmiller, toured the facility indoors and outdoors. A census was taken and there were 10 children present during the inspection. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-5:30PM.
Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. LPA observed the preschool classrooms to have a mounted television, circle time area, art supplies, cubbies, child-sized table, chairs, lounge area, dolls, blocks, age-appropriate books, puzzles, and learning toys. The bathroom facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair.
Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment, swings and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. LPA observed picnic tables, playhouses, slides, swings, climbing dome, riding toys and a basketball hoop. There are also balls, toys and riding toys for the children to use. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Drinking water is provided by personal water bottles. This facility provides breakfast, lunch and snacks to children. Food is prepared on site. Menus are posted at least one week in advance where an authorized representative can view them. Continued to LIC809-C.
