On May 13, 2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) C Brannon and J Pacheco conducted an announced case management inspection. LPAs met wit licensee, Meredith Lawrence.

This inspection was conducted due to licensee's request to remove the toddler option program from the preschool license. Classrooms #2 and #4 will be used for the capacity of 37 preschool children.

Previous inspection on 12/30/21, indoor square footage is 1296, which will accommodate capacity of 37 preschool children.

Fire clearance granted for preschool children on 5/10/22. During today's inspection, the indoor square footage allows for 37 preschool children, not the requested capacity of 40 preschool children. LPA will request an updated fire clearance to reflect the correct capacity of 37 preschool children.

Outdoor measurements taken on 12/30/21, total 41,088 square feet which will accommodate capacity of 37 preschool children. Adequate shade is available in the outdoor activity area. Licensee is utilizing mature trees for shade. There is no climbing equipment in the outside play yard. There are a total of 5 toilets, 2 urinals and 3 sinks. Staff bathroom is located in classroom #4.

Pending a final file review and an updated fire clearance, a recommendation to issue a preschool license with the capacity of 37 preschool children. Per licensee, the effective date of program change is June 1, 2022.
