25 | On 10/6/22, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Joseph Pacheco and Cynthia Brannon conducted an announced prelicensing inspection. LPAs met with Director, Elisha Hawkins and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. The purpose of the inspection was to follow up on the prelicensing inspection conducted on 9/27/22 to verify that corrections were made.
During today's inspection LPAs observed the following items have been corrected:
Inside Daycare:
1) Purchase indoor water dispenser and disposable cups with dispenser in Classrooms 2, 3 and 4.
2) Replace broken roof tiles in Classroom 4
3) Install cubby divider for coat storage in Classroom 3
4) Remove items from the counter in Classroom 3
5) Put a lock on the kitchen door to make inaccessible to children.
6) Adhesive Tape and First Aid Scissors to be purchased for first aid kit.
Outside Daycare:
1) Replace the one or two missing tiles on the roof.
2) Remove cobwebs along the fencing.
3) License number to be included on the advertising banner.
A fire clearance of 57 preschool children was approved and granted by the City of Modesto Fire Department on September 22, 2022. A new fire inspection clearance report has been requested for the newly requested capacity of 45 preschool children. Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for the requested capacity of 45 preschool children. |
