25 | On 06/26/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Megan Busler. Also present were licensee’s two assistants. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:00AM to 6:00PM.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. This is a two-story home and stairs are gated when children under age 5 years old are present. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the daycare room, family room, living room, kitchen, dining room, downstairs bathroom, and fenced backyard. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by child safety gate. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. LPA observed child sized table, chairs, dramatic play, arts & crafts, a mounted television, toys, blocks, age-appropriate books and learning materials. There is one fireplace in the home located in the family room and is made inaccessible by a glass door and will not be in used during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Licensee reported that there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. The outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. There are tricycles, Little Tikes buggies, a playhouse, sandpit and balls to play with outside. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. Continued to LIC809-C.
