On 06/30/2022 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Rene Mancinas and Ka Vang conducted an unannounced inspection to provide findings regarding the above allegations. LPAs met with Licensee, Alicia Prado, and took a census. LPA Mancinas explained and discussed the above allegations and findings with Alicia.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Mancinas interviewed licensee, staff, parents, and children, reviewed and obtained facility records, and reviewed local law enforcement information associated to this complaint.

Information obtained throughout the investigation did not produce sufficient information to meet the preponderance of evidence standard to support that licensee leaves children unattended. Reporting party alleged that licensee leaves children alone for several hours unattended. Video footage and information obtained throughout this investigation did not support this allegation. Although day care children may have engaged in inappropriate behaviors, there was sufficient evidence that Licensee was present in the home and providing adequate supervision when the incident occurred. Licensee also took the appropriate measures for addressing the behaviors. Licensee talked to the children, informed parents of involved children, and self-reported the incident to the Department. The incident did not result as a lack of supervision.

Although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Per California Code of Regulation Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 3, no deficiencies are being cited today. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Notice of Site to be posted for 30 days.
