25 | On 04/11/2024, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles met with Licensee, Tara Weber, also present was Licensee’s Assistant.
The purpose of the informal conference was to discuss previous deficiencies cited during past inspections that was conducted on July 1, 2022, March 14, 2024, and March 27, 2024. LPM Brannon reviewed and discussed the deficiencies with Licensee and how the Family Child Care Home will maintain compliance with the deficiencies cited below. Licensee has implemented a plan of correction since facility was cited.
The Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division has determined that Tara Weber Family Child Care Home violated the following Title 22 licensing regulations/California Health and Safety Codes:
The following Type A violations were discussed:
· On 03/14/2024 – Staffing Ratio and Capacity: CCR 102416.5(e) There were 11 children: one infant and 10 preschool age children in care without an assistant present, causing the facility to be out of capacity, as licensee was the only adult in the home.
· On 03/14/2024 – Personal Rights: CCR 102423(a)(4) The licensee used corporal punishment by spanking a child on the bottom with her hand for not listening to her.
The following Type B violations were discussed:
· On 07/1/2022 - Staffing Ratio and Capacity: CCR 102416.5(d)(1) There were 12 children at the time of inspection which included five infants.
